With 20 plus years in collaboration with 'Hellenic Offshore Racing Club' (H.O.R.C.) and other sailing clubs,

we continue organize sailing tours and holidays in Greece.

Vardis Georgakakis has born at Crete (Greek) island on the East Mediterranean.

• Studies on architectural design and decoration in Athens Technological Institute - Doxiadis Schools.

But his passion for sailing, for the sea and the adventure was stronger!

He got involved with windsurfing and then he finished professional sailing courses at Hellenic Offshore Sailing School.

• In August 1982 he reached his limits. Starting from Athens, he has sail all alone on his windsurf (TEN GATE 39),

all the Saronic islands, ( Aegina, Methana, Poros, Hydra, Porto-Hydra, Spetsae ) and he continue along the East coasts

of Peloponnessus to Kyparissi, Ierakas ending at Monemvassia: 130 miles in 9 days without any accompaniment !

• One year later, he starts working as skipper on yachts in Greece and Turkey.

He has often travel to the most European countries, as well the USA.

He has sail almost all the Greek islands, from Corfu island to Gavdos island (south of Crete), to Mont Athos (Macedonia)

along the Turkish coasts to Megisti Greek island and more away until Antalya of Turkey.

With ±2500 miles of sailing per year, he continues to offer with the same passion, care free and safety sailing holidays.
